Tower of God is a captivating manwha with a great anime adaptation. It tells the story of Bam as he looks to climb the Tower, finding great friends and powerful abilities on his way up. It's a great anime with plenty of highs, tons of lows, and one of the most brutal betrayals in anime history. While the first season set the stage for the show, the second season looks to take it to new heights, both figuratively and literally, as Bam and his friends continue to climb the titular Tower.

Tower of God is a series filled with mythical characters. The strongest characters in the series have lived for hundreds, if not thousands of years. They've had the time to acquire incredible weapons and skills to make them the strongest on whatever floor they happen to be on. From Irregulars who come from outside the Tower, to Princesses of Zahad who have always dominated the inside, Tower of God has plenty of strong characters.
10 Novick
The Second Strongest in Khun's Group

Novick is a Spear Bearer who comes from the Ha Family in Tower of God. He's part of Khun's newly formed team after Bam dies and becomes a great addition quickly. While he's not as strong as Ran is, he's the second strongest in the new group and a great help in every fight he finds himself in. He's estimated to be one of the strongest E-Ranked Regulars at the beginning of the second season and, thanks to his powerful bloodline, he's probably only going to get stronger.

Tower of God Fans Are Divided Over Controversial Season 2's Art Style and Production Values
Tower of God has returned with its second season after four years, but unfortunately, the production has been met with controversy from day one.
Novick specializes in close-quarters combat. While he can fire his Shinisu like a cannon, he prefers to use it as body reinforcement that improves his attacks. He can move across the battlefield quickly and punches like a truck. If Novick was a little humbler, he would probably be even stronger.

9 Khun Ran
Disinterested with Most Things
Khun Ran, known as Ran, is another character from the Khun family in Tower of God. He's another one of the strongest E-Rank Regulars in the series and officially the strongest person in Khun's second group. While Nozick has challenged Ran almost a dozen times, he's never been able to beat the pint-sized powerhouse. Ran seems like he was built for combat. He's always nonchalant and never afraid of a fight.
His best powers lie in his ability to turn Shinisu into lightning. He's considered a Jeonsula, or a lightning expert in the series. His Black Electric Storm Clouds ability might be his strongest, allowing him to create dense black clouds he can blend into. He then attacks from his opponent's blind spots, ending the fight before they even understand what's going on. His fights with Anaak show that Ran can even keep up with the Princesses of Zahad in battle.

8 Beniamino Cassano
The Devil of the Left Arm
Beniamino Cassano, known as the Devil of the Left Arm, is a complicated character in Tower of God. His brother Kang Horyang, or Beniamino Ilmar, spent most of the season looking for him once he heard he was alive. When the pair found one another, Cassano stabbed Ilmar through the back with a punch. If it wasn't for this betrayal, Cassano wouldn't have been able to beat his brother.
The Devil in Cassano's left arm gives him a ton of power. He can ignite his arm to make his attacks do even more damage and can even use his arm to protect himself. The Devil can increase his speed, giving Cassano plenty of options when he's fighting. Now that Cassano and Beniamino are back with Sophia, maybe she'll be able to take the Devils out of their arms and give them their lives back.

7 Kang Horyang
The Devil of the Right Arm
Kang Horyang, also known as Torasuke, has a tragic backstory in Tower of God. He was sold to the Workshop to be used as a Living Ignition Weapon, and out of the nearly 100,000 experiments, he was one of the few that worked out. He went through immense pain and got a ton of power back as a result. He's now known as the Devil of the Right Arm due to his incredibly powerful arm. He can use his devil power to increase his speed, strength, and more all in an instant.
In battle, Torasuke is ferocious. He's never afraid of getting up close and personal and can take a lot of damage too. As a living ignition weapon, Torasuke can get much stronger as a battle progresses. He can use his pent-up emotions to increase his output. Torasuke is so powerful, he was able to fight Ran and Nozick at the same time.

6 Khun Aguero Agnes
Named After an Incredible Footballer
Khun Aguero Agnes is one of Bam's first friends in Tower of God and one of the descendants of the powerful Khun family. Before he abandoned his evil family, he raided their famous vault and took a lot of powerful items with him, including a briefcase that can replicate any item placed inside of it. Khun uses it to climb the tower with Bam, Rak, and all of their other friends during the first season of Tower of God.

In the second season, Khun is just as strong. He's gotten smarter over the past five years and is looking for his friend Bam once again. When he's ambushed outside the Hand of Arlen, the Snake Assassin looking to kill him is all too confident. Khun fakes his own death before getting back to his feet and killing his attacker in a flash.
5 Bam / Jue Viole Grace
The New FUG Slayer is the Strongest Regular
Bam has a lot on his plate in Tower of God. He only entered the Tower to find Rachel, and once he was betrayed by her, he was forced to become a Slayer Candidate for the nefarious FUG organization. While he was training with them, he learned a ton of new abilities that made him lethal in battle. Even before he was a Slayer Candidate, Bam was shown using some incredibly powerful abilities that took other Rankers years to master.

Tower of God's Anime Finally Returned, Why You Should Be Excited About the Second Season
While the first season of the hit webtoon’s anime adaptation was a critical and commercial success, its second season should be even better.
As Jue Viole Grace, Bam is cold, calculated, and willing to do what it takes to get the job done. The second season of the show portrays the darker side of Bam very well. He's spent 5 long years away from his friends training to become FUG's God, and it shows every time he's fighting.
4 Kurudan
Yuri's Right-Hand Man
✕ Remove Ads
Kurudan is Yuri's right-hand man in the first season of Tower of God. While not much is known about the hulking giant, he's one of the two other people Yuri chooses to travel with through the Tower. He's a powerful wave controller who specializes as a Dansula, a very rare sub-position that gives Kurudan access to a host of powerful abilities. He's able to drop a giant disc onto Lo Po Bia Ren, destroying one of his bodies with a powerful attack.
While Yuri could have destroyed Ren easily, she isn't allowed to without permission from the King himself. She sends Kurudan to handle her enemy for her, and he does so in a flash. Kurudan's best abilities haven't been put on display yet, but when they are, Ren is hoping he's somewhere far away.
3 Lo Po Bia Ren
A Strong Character From the Famed Lo Po Bia Family
✕ Remove Ads
Lo Po Bia Ren was hiding under the name Yuga during the first season of Tower of God. He's secretly a Ranker from the Lo Po Bia Family, one of the Ten Great Familes in the series. He was tasked with retrieving the 13-Month Series of Weapons from the Zahad Princesses Endorsi and Anaak, and he wanted to kill Anaak in the process as well. Ren was able to take on both Anaak and Endorsi without any trouble, beating and insulting Anaak while he did.
If it wasn't for Yuri's arrival, Ren would've gotten away with the weapons and probably would have killed the girls as well. He's a vicious, mysterious character who might be much stronger than he lets on. His body died in one of Kurudan's attacks, but he didn't truly die. He'll appear later in the series stronger than before, and Endorsi and Anaak better hope they're not there when he does.

2 Ha Yuri Zahad
One of the Strongest Princesses of Zahad
Ha Yuri Zahad, better known as Yuri, is one of the most famous Princesses of Zahad and one of the strongest. She's one of the few Princesses to own two of the weapons in the 13-Month Series as well, owning both the Black March and the Green April for large portions of the series. She's incredibly helpful to Bam from the second he enters the Tower and has his back every time she can find him. When she's in the series, she's one of the strongest characters around.
Her strength is only put on display once in the first season when she fights Lo Po Bia Ren. While she couldn't actually fight an agent of Zahad herself, she was able to completely deflect his attack without even moving. She then sent her underling Kurudan to do her dirty work for her. It was probably in Lo Po Bia Ren's interest, as Yuri would've decimated him.

1 Uzek Mazino
The Strongest in the Tower
Urek Mazino is the strongest character in the Tower of God anime so far, and he's pretty far ahead of everyone else. Team Sweet and Sour meets Urek inside Zygaena where he's been hanging out for some time. He's waiting for Zygaena's child inside the beast when he met Bam and his team. He was 'generous' enough to let them quit the test, and if they did, he'd spare their lives. Bam couldn't quit the test because his friends' lives were on the line, so he decided to take on Urek instead.
In a flash of light, Mazino dashed at Bam. Mazino did an incredible amount of damage to Bam with a single attack, but Bam was trying to protect Miseng. Urek Mazino is known by most people in the Tower as one of the strongest, and as the series progresses, more of his incredible powers will be revealed.
